LSBU will inform clinical educators of a student’s disability with the students consent. It is important to discuss this with the student at the initial telephone contact or in their first week of placement so that reasonable adjustments can be made for the student.
If you would like further support or information on working with students with a disability then please contact the clinical co-ordinator at London South Bank University.
A useful resource for supporting students with dyslexia on placements is available on the Southampton University Website.
